1. About These Terms

Welcome to the Kurio 3D Compression website.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any purchase of products made through our online store.

By using this website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy.

The terms “Kurio”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Kurio 3D Compression Ltd, trading as Kurio 3D Compression.

The term “you” refers to the customer using this website or purchasing products from us.

2. Our Products

Kurio 3D Compression specialises in precision-fit compression garments manufactured using individual body measurements.

Our garments are created using 3D body scanning technology and are manufactured specifically for the individual customer.

Because our products are personalised and made to an individual’s measurements, they are not standard off-the-shelf garments.

3. 3D Scanning and Measurement Process

Before placing an online order, customers must have completed a 3D body scan with Kurio.

The measurements captured during scanning are used solely to create your personalised garment pattern and determine the appropriate fit.

4. Placing an Order

Orders can only be placed by customers who have completed the required measurement process.

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase goods from us.

An order confirmation email confirms that we have received your order but does not constitute acceptance of your order.

Your order is accepted when we confirm that production has commenced.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:

  • We are unable to manufacture the garment
  • There is an error in pricing or product information

If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you and provide a refund where appropriate.

5. Bespoke and Personalised Products – Returns and Cancellation

All Kurio garments are made specifically for the individual customer using their personal measurements captured through our 3D scanning process.

Due to the bespoke nature of these products, customers do not have the standard 14-day cancellation right that applies to many non-personalised online purchases.

Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled, amended or returned simply because the customer has changed their mind, no longer requires the product, or the product is not suitable due to personal preference.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights. If a product is faulty, defective, damaged, not manufactured with reasonable care and skill, or does not match the agreed specification, please contact us and we will assess the issue.

6. Two-Year Manufacturing Guarantee

Kurio 3D Compression products are covered by a two-year manufacturing guarantee from the date of delivery.

This guarantee covers manufacturing defects and faults arising from the materials or workmanship used in the production of your garment.

Examples of issues that may be covered include:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faults with stitching or construction
  • Material defects arising from production
  • Failure of the garment caused by a manufacturing issue

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear from use
  • Damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, storage or care
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage or alteration
  • Changes to body shape, size or measurements after manufacture
  • Issues arising from incorrect use of the garment
  • Cosmetic changes caused by normal use

If you believe your garment has a manufacturing fault, please contact Kurio with details of the issue and, where requested, provide photographs or return the garment for inspection.

Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, Kurio will, at its discretion and in accordance with applicable consumer rights, repair, replace the garment or provide an appropriate remedy.

The two-year manufacturing guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

7. Product Fit

Our 3D scanning process is designed to provide a highly accurate personalised fit based on your measurements at the time of scanning.

As your garment is manufactured specifically to your scanned measurements, Kurio cannot accept responsibility for fit issues resulting from changes in body measurements, training adaptations, weight changes or personal preference after manufacture.

If you experience an issue with the fit of your garment, please contact us so that we can review your measurements and garment construction.

8. Pricing and Payment

All prices shown on this website are in UK pounds sterling (£) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be received in full before production begins.

We use secure third-party payment providers to process payments. Kurio does not store complete payment card details.

9. Delivery

Delivery times provided are estimates and may vary depending on production requirements, order volumes and delivery services.

We will provide delivery information once your order has entered production.

10. Intellectual Property

All website design, text, graphics, images, logos, software, source code and other website materials are owned by or licensed to Kurio and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or use any website content without prior written permission from Kurio.

All trademarks displayed on this website remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Website Information

The information provided on this website is for general information purposes only.

While we aim to ensure information is accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all website content is free from errors or omissions.

Product images are intended to represent our products but may vary slightly from the final garment due to manufacturing processes, materials and screen display settings.

You agree not to misuse this website or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, systems or data.

Unauthorised use of this website may result in legal action.

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the above, Kurio’s liability arising from the supply of products shall be limited to the value of the products purchased under the relevant contract.

Kurio shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or financial losses arising from the use of this website or products supplied, including loss of profits, business interruption or loss of data, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

15. Data Protection

Your personal information, including measurement data collected during the 3D scanning process, is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We take appropriate measures to protect your personal information and only use measurement data for the purposes of producing your personalised garments and providing customer support.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
